Hey guys,
So I have been emailed a lot about this site spotbagz.co and was asked to check it out by some blog readers and this is my conclusion: it is a scam. This “Eva Knox” individual is a woman who is clearly quite deceptive and knows that we as buyers are disadvantaged in the replica market since there are so many shoddy sites out there … So this is basically her game: She has several sites she owns including PurseValley which I had previously commented negatively on. She “reviews” these sites which really means she just promotes her own site with fake reviews. People then come across her blog and think they’ve discovered a helpful person who really wants to help others …. But it is all a lie.
You have been warned my dear blog readers. Do not fall for her scam. I have read many upset blog reader emails about how they have spent hundreds and either received horrible products or simply have had their credit card information abused.
This brings me to the second part of this posting. I would like to give my lovely blog readers some tips on credit card safety.
Angie’s Top Credit Card Tips for Online (Specifically Replica) Purchases:
1. If a site doesn’t offer some type of Paypal verification or some other trust-able 3rd party merchant who will process the payment do not purchase from them.
2. Never I repeat NEVER give your credit card information through email or make email purchases. This is like giving your purse willingly to a thief. It is the biggest mistake you will make and you will definitely pay for it.
3. Do not ever send a photocopy of your credit card or a letter with your signature to a company stating that they have permission to charge you for a certain product. You do not know what they can (and will do) with your financial information.
4. Use a disposable credit card if you want to be super safe. They are a one time deal and online fraudsters can’t really get too far with them.
5. Always, always, always search for a review about a site if possible before you make any kind of purchase or give them any of your information. If others have been duped it is more likely than not that there will be bad reviews out there since the internet is open to all. However there are many fake reviews (like Ms. Eva Knox’s blog) so you just have to be able to read between the lines in many cases.
Hope this helps out you ladies and gents because I have heard way too many horror stories through my email of poor shoppers getting ripped off!
I have just spent hours with Eva Knox Is she really a scam?
Oh s*** I have just parted with £200 for a classic flap from a site that she recomended. iofferreplica it has not arrived yet but I have tracking details and my credit card company says the paygateway is ok.. I am quite worried though now I have read this and I thought I had done plenty of research before purchase.
btw, Uncle bench is a very reputable seller…spoken highly of in all the reb bag chat forums. Sofia/eva would be an idiot to not recommend them as there are far too many people who follow her whove also bought from UB.
Just because she recommends other sites doesn’t mean shes not a scam, I followed her for months before I learned she was a scam when she refused to post my reviews on a site I found on my own which turned out to be amazing and thankfully didn’t buy anything from her sites because I thought it was suspicious how she was always promoting replicavalley etc. however she has recommended good sites too becasue she no choice or she will lose clientelle if she doesnt listen to some of her followers who probably buy from her too adn to keep her following. Fab*** and baga*** are very reputable and shes spoken bad and good about both of them depending on what shes tried to get away with to try and sound sincere. Research her enough and there are soooo many girls whove been scammed by her lies.
I have submitted a bad review on a China replica seller which was not recommended by Sofia/Eva. My review photos of the bag suffered after afew months but it was posted by Eva and worst she mentioned another replica seller and sent in by some other girl’s name (not my name). I msg Eva about her mistake or why is she using my review photos, of cos no reply from her. Btw, Purse Valley is very expensive. I have ever purchased a LV wallet from them and the wallet I received was different from the pictures they show.
Id like to hear about uncle bench as well before I make a purchase..Eva KNox speaks highly of them …so who knows…=0/
Can You Please tell me what do u think of unclebench.com are they safe ??? i would like to order a 600$ chanel bag ??? what do u think of this site ??
Hello
I would like to review your tips at the point of a insider in this business.
1. You said do not purchase from a website if they do not offer Paypal verification or some other trust-able 3rd party merchant. You have repeated this many times, but I don’t think it’s realistic. We all know paypal do not allow replica business, even if you send money without mentioning brand, they can detect the transaction and terminate the seller’s account. They are pretty good at this. The realistic alternative option is using 3rd party credit card gateway. But don’t expect the big company like 2co, they do not support this business neither.
2. Do not ever send a photocopy of your credit card. Sometimes we need a photocopy of credit card because we need to fight against fraud transaction. We have experienced stolen card/unauthorized transaction too many times and it’s a big headache to get charge back. But we do not need customer’s financial information. He/she can edit the photo to hide most info and show us last four digits only. 4 digits would not let anybody in risk. But we can know the card is not stolen on line.
3. Never I repeat NEVER give your credit card information through email or make email purchases. Use a disposable credit card if you want to be super safe. Good idea, I recommend this too.
4. Search for a review. no comment, there are many fake reviews online now. And as far as we know, most of our customers do not write review if they were not asked. They may simply send us an email, saying they were happy. Or recommend us to their friend. But very few people will publish reviews on other websites.
Are you sure Eva Knox is fake and scamming people? I’ve emailed her before, given her a review of my bad experience with a replica seller and she’s given me sound advice. I even made a purchase with a website that’s not PurseValley, which she recommended. Even if she is fake, we as readers can decide for ourselves on whether to follow whatever she says 100% or to make our own judgement. While I took her advice on the which website to buy from, I was not persuaded enough to buy from PV. You know what I mean? So I guess you just have to be smart about it.
Eva said too many good reviews to promote PV and it’s doubtable, but that doesn’t mean she need to decline all good stories for other sites. Your story can make the blog sound natural as long as you are not fighting PurseValley.
Angie, this is an awesome blog! Wondering if you could tell me where i can buy a Small Marcie Chloe bag? I’ve gone lost a lot of weight, and want the bag to match the new style! Would be grateful for your input. A couple sites have the large but i want the small, and of course best replica. Thanks so much!
and I just signed up on her blog…
OMG and I was so excited when I found her blog…spent 2 hours dig in there!
She even replied my msg :O
Scary!!!
WOW !! I had no idea I was about to purchase a bag from a site that she recommended http://www.thehandbagfan.com but my credit card kept rejecting the charge last night and when I caled this morning, they told me HandbagFan is on their “scam” list and that they would release the card but if any issues, I was on my own. I figured I’d do more research and am so glad to have found your site as you saved me from making a $350 error. Thanks again.
Remember Eva Knox’s other name is Sofia Nolan so don’t let that fool you either. This lady is a scammer big time. Feel sorry for the fools in her grip.
I really appreciate your blog. It helped me save a lot of money from that scammer Eva Knox.
