So my friend very generously allowed me to take pics of her Replica Knockoff Hardy Tote.

She recently found out I buy replicas and when I told her I was going to buy a replica Goyard Hardy Tote, she wanted to see it with her own eyes and feel it with her own hands….needless to say, she’s now joined our secret group and is ready to drop cash on replife!!

Here are our joint impressions after pretty much fondling both bags and dissecting them to bits.

Canvas

• The feel and texture of the canvas are very very close.
• The Replica Knockoff Goyard Hardy feels a bit thicker and less wrinkly than my replica. (-0.2pt)

It could be because my bag was folded up in the box, but I’m hopeful. I’ve been stuffing it to try and smooth it out!

Leather Straps

• The leather straps are thick and really good quality, the glazing is neat, no sloppy sections.
• The leather grain is really beautiful and the leather itself is supple.
• The top part of the Goyard replica is well crafted too, and the leather texture matches the Replica Knockoff one.

The quality of this small pouch is wonderful!

• The canvas feels great too, nice and flexible.

Shape Size

• The bag’s shape is identical to the Replica Knockoff one, measuring 31 cm x 17 cm x 39 cm.

My Goyard replica is slightly shorter looking because I have it stuffed to iron out the folds, so it’s wider and stubbier in the pics.

Goyard Pattern

• The placement of the Ys and alignment of the Goyard St Honore matches the authentic.
• The painted dots are kind of raised and you can feel the texture.
• But compared to the real Goyard, the replica has fewer raised dots, and they’re less bumpy. (0.3pt)

The replica is a bit shinier too, but I wonder if it’s because my friend’s Replica Knockoff is older and therefore more worn down.

The lighting makes it tough to capture the true color and sheen. But you can see there are only very subtle differences between the two.

Logo/Stamp

• The Goyard logo has the right font and the depth of the embossing looks like the Replica Knockoff one.
• The blind logo stamps look the same to me.
• The engravings on the silver buttons also match up really well.

Interior

• The interior lining matches the Replica Knockoff one.
• The base is pretty much the same in shape, stiffness, and density.

The Replica Knockoff strap on the the base is slightly thicker fabric so it feels higher quality, but since it’s just the base and on the inside of the bag (-0.1pt).

Other Details

• The stitching on both bags is comparable.
• The perforated holes in the “GOYARD PARIS” pattern on the sides have the same number of holes as the Replica Knockoff one.
• The leather grain matches the Replica Knockoff perfectly, and the zipper shape, thickness, and tabs are spot on too.
• The Goyard pouch replica has the same pliable canvas and is very well made.

What Fits Inside My Goyard Hardy Tote Replica

The opening of the Goyard Hardy is very wide and the zipper tabs are long past both sides of the bag so you can open up the sides much more than the actual opening of the bag.

There are also side straps to keep the zipper extension tabs tucked into the side of the bag.

• I can fit in full A4 folders in here with room to spare.
• My 17″ laptop and all my work components including my lunch box can fit in here.

Mind you, the bag can still get heavy with all the stuff in here.

The small pouch is detachable and comes with a leather strap so you can keep it hooked to the bag. It’s a really handy feature.

For me, it doubles as a great wallet or cardholder that I can use with other bags too.

• There’s a back pocket that’s perfect for receipts or cards.

Pros and Cons of Goyard Hardy

For me, the pros are the size, how long the shoulder straps are, and the zipper closure. I also like that it’s not as stiff as my Goyard Marquises.

The potential cons are that there’s no inside pocket, which can make it hard to quickly find things like my cell phone or keys.

And if the bag gets too heavy, the straps can start to dig into your shoulder.

Nevertheless, I cannot express how much I love this Goyard Hardy replica! In terms of ease of use, it blows any other laptop bag I have out of the water.

Also, compared to the Neverfull, this bag looks so much more presentable (and isn’t as common so plus points on that).

It’s truly a workhorse and I know I will get lots of years of use out of this bag!

I love the thoughtful functions of this bag (like the side tabs to keep the zipper parts down, the removable base shaper, the longer straps, the small pouch…all these things add up to me being super happy with the overall bag.

Of course, the fact that I was able to compare the Replica Knockoff next to it really added to my love and satisfaction, it also impressed my friend and convinced her to go the replica route moving forward!
