• The strap is adjustable and has a very 90s vibe and is comfortable to wear.
• It’s got a big, simple inside with just one main compartment.
• The strap at the bottom adds some extra structure to it.

Currently, the Romy is available in three sizes: mini, medium, and large (the large size can fit in a 14-inch laptop.).

The leather on this Celine Romy dupe is absolutely lush.

She was out of the box shiny, smelt of leather, and was in no way dry or fufuing. Just luxe.

• The leather is supple and slouches nicely right out of the box.
• The hardware is smooth, feels heavy, and the strap buckles in effortlessly.
• The zipper glides smoothly and stays perfectly straight when it’s unzipped!
• And the interior feels as soft as suede should be!

The dimensions of the bag match the Replica Knockoff version—14 X 8 X 2 IN (36 X 20 X 6 CM).

I was feeling pretty ballsy and had tried on a Romy at the local Celine boutique, and honestly, the bags felt the same to me.

The shape, slouch, leather grain, logo stamping, hardware color, and engraving, down to the inside suede lining—all of it matches perfectly.

• The glazing is neat and matches the original. It’s not too thick or messy at all.
• The stitching is all clean, follows the same slant as the original, and doubles up in the right spots.

Although this bag has a rectangular design and can maintain its shape when filled, I prefer its slouchy look, so I don’t pack too much into it.

• The shoulder strap is adjustable.
• It’s a secure bag with a zip closure.

By the way, the shoulder strap is also removable, so you can swap it out for a longer one if you want to wear it crossbody. Or you could go for the Strap Romy that was released later, it comes with a long shoulder strap already.

Cons

• There’s no pocket inside.

But I think that makes sense. Adding something like a side pocket inside might mess with the bag’s overall slouchy look.

The suede feels so lush and luxurious… And the smell—I wish I could bottle it up and keep it forever.
