Replica Review: Goyard’s Limited Edition Villette Jacquard Tote — A Perfect Mother’s Day Gift

Hi everyone, I’m curious about what gifts you’re planning for your mom? I have been overspending recently but I still want to treat my mom to this gorgeous Goyard bag.

FYI, my mom and I are both huge bag enthusiasts; she has many Replica Knockoff bags but is also open and positive about replica bags and has quite a few (long-time readers should know about this haha). 

My mom already has a Goyard Artois that I bought for her, which she uses as her daily work bag. She was talking about getting a summer tote recently and I spied her checking this out in some resell sites. (Basically sold out everywhere and very expensive for a canvas bag.)

I figured she would love this replica. That’s why I decided to get this bag for Mother’s Day. It’s just perfect!

This Goyard Villette Jacquard Limited Edition Tote Bag was purchased from Lily – Web: Designer Discreet (DD).

Quality 10/10

I was really curious to see how this tote bag would turn out since it wasn’t the typical Goyardine canvas. I wanted to make sure that DD’s version was actually Jacquard and not just some random fabric. 

I asked Lily if she’d be okay with me switching styles if I wasn’t satisfied, and she was very amenable to it. She even saying that she would be willing to stand by the quality and accuracy if I wasn’t happy. Truly a trusted seller, just as I expected.

I’ve got to give her props again. When I was getting the fake Miu Miu bag for my sister, she honestly suggested maybe not to pick the red one.

Jacquard Quality:

• This bag is really sturdy.
• Surprisingly light but it holds its shape well and can stand on its own.

I’m really digging the material because it’s truly unique from the typical Goyard canvas it’s made of uncoated canvas. Kinda reminds me of cross-stitch fabric with those tiny squares.

•  And it’s not floppy at all, it’s got this stiffer texture to it.

Like most textile bags, this one probably isn’t waterproof, but the good thing about it is that I don’t have to worry about it getting bent out of shape or distorted.

Leather Trim Handles:

• The leather on this bag is thick and feels substantial, like my Goyard Hardy.
• The grain of the leather is larger and more textured, which gives it a more luxurious vibe.
• The handles are soft, and you can see from my pics how flexible they are, yet they’re still thick and sturdy.

Interior Canvas Stitching:

Inside this bag, the lining is the signature bright yellowish-orange color.

• There’s no loose lining or wonky stitching in sight.
• The contrasting white stitching on the handles is straight and even.

Accuracy 9.8/10

Measurements Stitching:

• The Replica Knockoff bag measures 15” x 10.5” x 5”, and mine is pretty much spot-on.
• The handle drop is 7.75 inches, just like the Replica Knockoff one.

The stitching on this bag is also perfect.

• It’s got all the right double stitching around the handle base.
• All the stitches on the leather trim are straight and even.
• Both the Replica Knockoff and my mom’s replica have 16 stitches on the handle chaps.

Jacquard Canvas:

• About the color of the Jacquard Canvas, I really think they nailed it.
• The Goyard St. Honore looks exactly like the print on the Replica Knockoff one.

Leather (exterior and interior):

The leather handles and all the trim on this bag are a pleasant surprise because they’ve got the grain spot on. I just LOVE the leather texture on ALL parts of the bag.

• There’s a nice suppleness to it.

And you can see, even the trim around the edges, sides, and base is excellent quality, real leather, and stitched really well.

• It doesn’t feel like plastic or too stiff.
• That leather border around the edges gives the bag a nice, firm structure.

Interior Lining:

The bright yellowish-orange interior lining is spot-on, really vibrant, and matches the genuine Goyard lining. It adds a delightful pop of color and makes it easy for my mom to find all her items. 

Satisfaction 10/10

I just know my mom is going to adore this bag. 

I told Lily I needed it to arrive well before May 12, and she was super confident it would get to me on time for me to wrap it up and get it all ready for mom’s surprise. 

I can’t wait to see her reaction!

As for me, I gotta say I’m beyond satisfied with this bag, especially for the price I paid. Already want one for myself!
