My LVs are the ones I use as everyday and they get a ton of use. Used my Speedy as a mom bag and my Pochette as an everyday purse that had been getting thrown around. Since I already have a review of the Pochette, so today I will be sharing my LV Speedy bought from Designer Discreet after 2 years of abuse I mean wear and tear. I’ll also throw in a comparison with the real deal.

I’ve purchased quite a few items from various sellers with mixed results. But now, I’ve settled on a few go-to replica bags sellers, and I’m not that keen on trying out new ones anymore.

Designer Discreet (DD) has been one of my go-to for a long time. Lily doesn’t get annoyed when I ask a million questions or want more pictures, and I’ve been very happy with the bags I’ve gotten. 

A good friend of mine was a Rep newbie and Lily helped her with a serious LV haul that she is ecstatic about. I really think she is a good and honest seller.

Price I also bought another 2 bags and got a $50 discount, the Speedy seemed to cost $340.

Order Timeline

Honestly, when I first got the fake Speedy, I did plan to do a review right away (that’s why I can still lay out the timeline clearly even after two years). But you know how it is life gets busy. Between taking care of my kid and hustling at work to fund my fashion addiction, I just couldn’t commit to reviewing every single purchase. It really boils down to whether I can squeeze in the time.

When I do get a moment, I genuinely enjoy sharing my finds with you all. And I think a two-year update is also a good way to show you guys my experience and thoughts about the bag. After all, a couple of years of using a bag can tell you a lot more than just a first impression, right?

• 02/09/22 Reached out to Lily asking to see if she still has the Speedy 25 in Damier Ebene available for purchase, she replied after about 10 mins and said yes.

• 02/11/22 Paid for items. When I first tried to pay, I used Western Union, but Lily told me their account was restricted, so I ended up paying through a wire transfer. Four days later my payment went through. (the hold-up was on my end; my bank did not trust the transaction)

• 02/17/22 Received PSPs and approved.

• 02/20/22 Lily sent tracking info for the bags. I have been tracking daily and started to worry as there were no status updates for two days.

• 02/25/22 Customs cleared via West Coast USPS, I was nervous about the bigger box getting through their watch, but I got lucky!!

•  Delivered! – I did not make a record of exactly when the bag arrived, but it was pretty quick. Maybe a few days.

Personal Experience

I am still loving this bag. I used it primarily for travel and road trips when it’s sunnier out, later it became my mom bag. Gotta say it’s the NO.1 mom bag of all time for me.

It is wipeable, sooooo spacious on the inside, boujee but not TOO out there that I feel uncomfortable wearing it around different people (like Chanel or Hermes, I feel weird carrying those brands into like the public library or a casual park day). Plus it goes with my lulu lemon mom daily wear! (A very close second is my trusty Goyard St Louis, large size! So slouchy, roomy, also wipeable, but I am not able to keep it AS organized since it’s like a big black hole in there, haha.)

And my Speedy has kept surprisingly well though I wipe the canvas down from time to time.

The canvas is of good quality – it doesn’t feel rubbery or overly thick, and it’s a bit smooth in texture. It’s got this nice balance where it’s neither too rubbery nor too soft to the touch. 

Wear and Tear

I use it rather roughly because it always looks good and holds so much! And I think that’s why I love reps. Most of my auth bags just sit in my closet. I love the freedom of not worrying about the purse I’m wearing. Like last time, I was on vacation wearing this replica LV Speedy and it started pouring. All I worried about was not getting wet and didn’t have to think about “rain stains” on my bag like I used to with my auth LVs.

Despite all that, for the wear tear update, here is what I’ve noticed:

• The zipper pulls are a bit more worn than before, but not bad at all considering it’s been 2 years.
• There are some slight scratches on the D ring, but nothing serious.
• Found a small tarnished spot on the clasp… this just popped up in the last few months.
• There are just some very minimal scuffs on the edges.
• The handles are still pretty good.

Fake LV Speedy 25 in DE vs. Auth DE Neverfull

I keep getting loads of compliments on this bag and I’m totally confident about how accurate it is. You can see how against my auth DE Neverfull, the canvas looks spot on, even the undertones and bumpiness. I seriously can’t rave about it enough!

Also, I once wore my fake Speedy into an LV boutique and the sales rep gave my husband his cell number immediately and said he could call to skip the line anytime, and my husband was like “What just happened ???” LOL. But it definitely passed, even directly next to displays of auth damier azur.

Appearance Comparison

The color on this DE is spot on – really close to the real deal, with no overly purple or orange tones. I’m super happy with this shade since it’s almost exactly like the Replica Knockoff DE. Even in sunlight, you can’t tell it’s not real. The canvas is a bit smoother than the original, but it’s not a big deal or anything bad. (-0.1)

The inside labels and pockets are the right shape and in the correct spots. The Louis Vuitton label on the side of the treated leather is nice and clear. The pocket lining is that waterproof style like the older models have.

The hardware clasps are top-notch, really sturdy, and well-crafted. The gold color is gorgeous, and there’s no bubbling or chipping at all. The lock and keys are nice and shiny.

Materials and Craftsmanship

I’m really happy with how the chaps line up with the squares – I’ve seen some where they don’t even match up. But here, all the squares line up perfectly along the sides and top. Even Replica Knockoff bags have their discrepancies, so I actually think this one’s better than some of the real ones I’ve seen.

The strap is made of treated leather, which is always pretty stiff, even on the real deal, so I was expecting that. This one feels a bit stiffer than the Replica Knockoff version, though. There’s a little bit of wrinkling on the handles, but I’ve seen the same thing on some of the real ones at the LV store. 

All the hardware and strap details are spot on. The bag’s hardware has the right champagne color and the strap’s hardware is the shiny gold just like the real ones. The stamping looks good, and the strap length is exactly right. The metal feels weighty and high-quality, which I’m pleased about. The zipper works smoothly, with no snags or issues. The only minor thing is that the strap feels a bit stiffer than the original, so -0.2 for that.

Interior-wise, the fabric and color are just like the Replica Knockoff ones. 

Conclusion

Any time I need replica LV, DD is my go-to. Their monogram canvas is TO DIE FOR and has that greenish undertone that I love and prefer. Their Damier Ebene is also highly accurate. I also really like how they talk with customers. They’re straight-up and honest, and that’s super important to me. I feel easy asking them anything and they always give me good answers.

What can I say? I’ve had this bag for two years now and it still blows me away with how awesome it is. It’s a timeless, straightforward bag that’s easy to carry and use. I know some folks don’t like how it opens, but I personally don’t have any trouble getting things in and out of it. It’s such a bargain. If you’re looking for a spot-on, high-quality Speedy that’s great for travel or just getting to work, this is definitely the one to pick!
