Hey everyone! Today, I’m reviewing The Row Soft Margaux 15 Bag, one of my Christmas splurges.
I was not a fan of the Margaux until I saw this. That linen combo is such a chef’s kiss! I really love how the rich burgundy and the neutral linen colors complement each other.
Even though this bag feels more like a fall and winter piece, the linen material lightens it up, (both in weight and visually,) so it’s totally wearable even in the summer. And I’m planning to carry it year-round!
QUALITY 9.8/10
This is my first The Row dupe, and after talking with a few sellers, I finally decided to buy from DD.
The material quality of this The Row Margaux dupe is fantastic, definitely a 10 out of 10. The leather feels really soft and has a nice graining/pebbled texture. Doesn’t have any weird chemical smell.
- The canvas and leather trim are sturdy and well-structured.
- The leather trim inside by the zipper and on the bridge clips is just as good as the leather on the outside.
- The wax glazing and stitching are done really well, with clean edges and straight lines all over.
- All the hardware parts, like zippers, buckles, and feet, are firmly attached.
- The chevron pattern inside my replica matches the original perfectly, and the color is correct too.
The handles and straps are really sturdy too, the leather might be a bit less luxurious compared to Replica Knockoff The Row bags. -0.2

Shape
I’ve noticed that many Margaux replicas have a really pronounced trapezoidal shape, the base ends up a bit too wide while the top is too narrow.
I know that the auth Margaux is trapezoidal, but trapezoidal is different from triangular. I was quite particular about this so when DD reassured me that I could exchange the bag for a different bag if needed, I felt a lot more at ease.
- As you can see, this The Row dupe has a really well-balanced shape and structure.
- The top isn’t too narrow, and it looks just like the Replica Knockoff Margaux in terms of shape and stature.
Measurements
The Replica Knockoff one measures 15 x 9 x 11 inches, while mine is SLIGHTLY bigger, measuring 15.25 x 9 x 11 inches, just a tad wider on the widest part of the bag.
Leather Canvas Exterior
The external details of this fake The Row Margaux bag closely resemble the Replica Knockoff Margaux, especially in its combination of leather and canvas.
- The leather shows a finely pebbled grain and feels dense, while the canvas has a tight weave for durability and lightweight functionality.
The mix of luxurious leather and earthy linen makes this bag unique and way more interesting than the pure leather versions. Another great thing about this combo is that the bag is overall lighter to carry compared to its all-leather version.
Hardware Components
There isn’t much hardware on this bag, but what is there works well and is good quality.
- The zipper is smooth and has the correct pull.
- The bridge closure has the right shape and catch ring.
- The gold feet are properly oriented, with engravings just like the Replica Knockoff version.
Logo/Branding
This Natural Linen version has one gold “The Row” stamp on the front of the bag and another one inside the bag.
- I do notice that the font on the inside of the bag is a bit thinner than the Replica Knockoff one, but not by much. -0.2
- Thankfully, the exterior logo is clear and thick enough, with good spacing and the correct font just like the Replica Knockoff version.

SATISFACTION 9/10
Overall, I’m perfectly satisfied with this The Row Margaux dupe. Ideal for travel, work, and daily use (like grocery shop, diaper bag).
The quality you get for the price is just amazing. It ticks off all the important details like shape, color, and the materials, both leather and canvas/linen.
I find this bag really easy to use. I’ve been using it for two weeks now, it is very heavy duty.
The side pockets are easily accessible and sizable on the 15, I can fit a phone into the small pocket, but keep sunnies inside. Keys can easily attach to the toggle eye, if like me, you don’t use it for locking.
Downside, the straps aren’t long enough for shoulder carry, and there are no anchors to add straps.
