Website Review: Pursevalley and Poshmoda Shopping Experiences

UPDATED: This is an old post which is being updated to reflect new information! The post was first published in 2012. I just wanted to let everyone know that it has been confirmed that Poshmoda and Pursevalley are connected so if you are wary of one you should be wary of the other! Feel free to share your experiences (good and bad) below shopping through either seller/website.

Hey guys!

So I was going to make a purchase from starshandbags.co/pursevalley.cn/poshmoda (they are the same site operated under different names in order to trick people) since they are advertised all over the place however after receiving some emails from several blog readers I decided not to even spend a penny as these sites seem to clearly sell poorly made replicas, and have even scammed people it turns out in many cases. Here is what I have heard:

Hi Angie, I posted this on another site but I thought I’d email you too to let you know. I had ordered 4 purses from pursevalley.com. First, delivery was late. Secondly, the quality is inferior. Third, they didn’t have one of the purses I ordered so they cancelled without informing me. Fourth, I tried to call, email, and use live chat to get authorization to return the purses (they only allow 10 days for returns AND the package has to be mailed to China!) and they will not return my calls or emails. To make it all worse, I ordered 4 purses so I would get a 30% discount but because they cancelled part of my order and only sent 3 purses, I didn’t receive a discount.
The quality of the purses is inferior. I have real Chanel purses and these are not even close. You can buy nicer, cheaper faux purses in L.A. for a fraction of the cost.
I started calling on Jan. 3, 2011, and have called 4 times, emailed 4 times, and tried their “live chat” 4 times. I left my number in each case, and I have yet to receive any correspondence from them. I used a debit card to pay so I am very concerned.
I hope you can put this on your blog to help prevent this from happening to others.

Another email I received said:

Do not waste your time. Pursevalley.co is full of dishonest people say money back guarantee but refuse a refund then cannot get a response from customer service I am out of $640 plus $80 shipping charges for returning their products. I am disgusted and am very careful before I purchase online now because of this experience.

Finally a few other shoppers have mentioned:

Wish I had seen all the negative reviews about pursevalley before I made a $600 purchase. First of all, their shipping is horrible. I ordered stuff for an event coming soon and it’s taking forever to ship. I try to contact customer sevice and they are either very rude (one hung up on me!) or dont reply to the couple emails I sent. they wasted no time at all getting my money. (Should have not send it through western union cos I cant get refunds now). I was decieved by Eva Knox from spot bags because of all her false reviews, no one who does not work for a company will have such high praises in all her posts. I ordered an lv evora from another well known replica company and the service was great and I recieved my bag in no time, Quality was flawless. I still havent recieved my order from purse valley and I have no idea how that will turn out as most of the real reviews I see are negative. I wrote a complaint on the facebook page and they removed it immediately, hence the mostly positive reviews. I’m very sure if they were honest, the negative reviews would bypass the positive by far. Will never purchase from this company again and I hope you tell others not to either.

“I recently ordered a bag from http://www.ipursevalley.co and it was a really bad quality bag. When I complained, they asked me to send it back which costed me £30 and promising a new bag. The bag arrived but it was broken as soon as I opened it and it was a poor replica of the MM artsy. It did not look anything like the actual bag. Now, they wont give me the money back and want me to spend another £30 to send this broken bag back! I am disappointed and they ripped me off. I would never recommend purse valley or club couture for replica bags!! horrible horrible quality bags!!

I would really like to thank you girls for emailing me before I created a potential headache for myself, and hope that these experiences will help others! This site operates under a lot of aliases so you really need to be careful when you are shopping online to avoid one of their traps!     I received a bag from PURSE VALLEY . First of all this was NOT an exact replica the bottom of this louis vuitton had metal feel and the real one does not . I was larger and stiffer then the real one . The strap broke 1 week after purchase . They sent another (and I only opted for this because it was $70 to send back) The second strap broke 6 weeks later and when I wanted to return the bag they would not. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM PURSE VALLEY

    Follow up so far for my post above regarding the unbranded Birkin from Pursevalley. I called and spoke to a representative who asked me to email pictures which I did. I received an email about a day later stating I could either return the bag for an exchange or I could keep the bag and give it as a gift to someone and receive a $70 credit towards my next purchase. No mention of refund. Since I would never carry an unbranded Birkin and was already nearly $400 in the bag I decided to go ahead and send it back. The shipping back to China was $85 just to let you know.
    I must say the customer service has been really nice and helpful throughout all of this. I am not seeing the rudeness that others have said about them in their reviews. Maybe if you contact them with a certain tone in your voice (like you are already mad) they won’t be as helpful. Not sure. But I was totally nice when talking to them and they have been totally nice and professional back. I sent them the tracking with pictures of the receipt and a few days later they sent me my new tracking number. My bag is currently getting turned over to USPS in China and getting ready to ship to America. I should receive it next week some time if it goes as quickly as the last one. I will send another update as soon as it arrives to give my final review. Now I have closer to $500 in this bag so I am hoping for the best!

      Considering they advertise a money back guarantee the fact that they failed to offer a refund (as clearly advertised on their site) and are making you pay return shipping for their mistake is enough to make most mad, I mean $85 is not cheap. It’s already hard enough buying a replica and having to go through the whole return and repurchase process sucks. I am happy to hear they let you exchange it though (even that is rare from the horror stories I have heard) because they usually don’t respond to people at all. Hope your new bag is better! 🙂

        I have to agree with Ida’s comment. After reading all the stories regarding PV makes me wonder if you really aren’t a troll. Sorry to say but if you indeed get another bag from them that happens to be perfect, it would really surprise me! I bet you the tracking they sent you is a bad tracking number. Hope I’m wrong, they were always nice to me also and I was never rude to them, still I will never do with business with PurseValley again regardless of what they sell. The quality is nowhere near what they advertise.

          Lol…I am not a troll. Trust me I am worried after reading the reviews. I purchased before seeing all the bad reviews. But honestly so far they have been nice and I haven’t had any rude encounters with them. There are a lot of reviews talking about bad customer service, but I have been lucky to not have that issue. Tracking seems legit as it says it is being turned over to USPS now. We will see! It does SUCK to have to pay $85 return shipping for something that is not my fault, but a $70 store credit definitely was not an option. I am not happy about that at all. With all the money I have in this bag I am just hoping to get what I ordered in the first place! The one I got was actually nice other than not having the brand stamps. Ugh
          Honestly after all this (even if I do get a nice bag) I will NEVER buy another replica. I am paranoid now. The reviews are scary. Seems like it is either hit or miss. Too risky all together. 🙁
          I would be happy to post pictures of the unbranded bag, but it doesn’t give me the option.

        I bought from PV first time too because they advertise soo much everywhere. Big mistake. It took me a year to get over that experience. But now that I shop at other places like DD I don’t think I can ever go back to buying real again because of the money I am saving. Replica buying isn’t easy but it pays off if you find a good seller and build a relationship with them.

          I bought from PV after seeing all the great reviews from Hannah and Eva Knox, all the great reviews on PV, and a Youtube video of a review of the PV Birkin. On the video it looked near perfect and helped me make my final decision to purchase. The video has since been deleted or removed. Weird.
          After I purchased I found all the bad reviews and how Hannah and Eva are working for PV! Ugh. So how do you know there aren’t tons of fake reviews for the other sites? And what if the bad reviews are from competitors? And fake people commenting on these blogs just as someone said I was a troll earlier? I really don’t know who to trust anymore. I mean, how would anyone know? All I can say is that all the bad reviews have made this experience stressful. If the new bag isn’t good then that is a lot of money I just threw away. I guess I will only know when I receive the bag.

    I just received a Birkin that I ordered from PV. Actually the quality of the bag is great, but unfortunately there are no brand stamps anywhere. It is like a generic bag with no name brand on it. Must have been a factory miss. 🙁 I have to say shipping was quick….maybe 10 days total. I have spoke to customer service and they have been polite so far.
    I am in the process of emailing them pictures, but I am so worried about returning it and not receiving another bag and losing my money. I paid by Western Union and have seen so many bad reviews on customer service when it comes to people having issues with their orders. I am hoping they will make this right as I am really excited that the bag is such a nice replica and do plan to buy more from them if all goes well. I do own an Replica Knockoff Birkin to compare the two and it is very close. Just some small differences that won’t be noticeable to an untrained eye. I don’t want a refund, just an exchange. Worried to pay the shipping back to China and then never receive another bag. Does anyone have any experience with exchanges?

      Wow that is a new low for Purse Valley … sending bags without stamps … hun you should have saved your money and shopped at perfect hermes. I mistakenly bought a hermes kelly from PV first and the bag started to fall apart after a month even though it seemed “ok” initially .. second time around I bought from perfect hermes and the quality is 1000 times better in leather, stitching, and hardware and has lasted me over a year so far unlike PV’s garbage. Keep on harassing them and hopefully you will be lucky to receive a reply but I really suggest spending your money elsewhere in the future because shopping at Pursevalley is like playing russian roulette, they’re gonna screw you over eventually.

        I bought it after reading the Hannah and Eva Knox reviews. I also saw a youtube video review showing the bag and it looked great. I can’t find the video anymore….someone must have deleted it. It wasn’t until after I already bought it that I started seeing all the negative reviews….especially with customer service. So far the customer service has been friendly to me so hope it stays that way. I am hoping someone else has experience with exchanges with them. Hopefully since it is just an exchange and not a refund it will go smoothly. I hate that I will have to pay return shipping on something that is THEIR fault, but since I am in this nearly $400 I would hate to have just a generic bag that I will not carry at all. Ugh…

          From what I remember reading before; those who returned a bag had major problems. They claimed they never received it and it turned into a big fiasco. If I was you, I would think twice before asking for an exchange. I would just return it and request a refund. I really hope you paid with a credit card. They are always nice to people until it’s time to get an exchange or a refund. I bought a LV speedy 25 from them, the bag was perfect except the color was nowhere near what it was suppose to look like. I regretted doing business with them and wanted to return the bag but after reading posts from others saying they claimed (PV) never receiving it, I decided to chalk it up as lesson learned and never buy a fake again.

    I bought from Pursevalley.cn twice. Once was in April of 2016 no issues except one item was crap, but overall it was a good experience. Most recently I ordered on 8/30/16 my order still hasn’t shipped, I’ve been refused a refund and I’ve been given the run around. The difference? The first time I ordered via credit card, and the second time I paid with Western Union. I am furious, and will never do business with them again.

      What happened with Western Union? Did they not send the money to Pursevalley or is PV saying that they didn’t get your money from Western Union? See, this is exactly the reason why I won’t use Western Union, the problems with them are too often to be coinsidence.

    I was sad to see poshmoda teamed up with purse valley!!! Poshmoda was a great site ordered several bags from them! The bags are nice, exact replicas and received on time! No complaints but I won’t order from purse valley I hope poshmoda comes back

    I ignored all the bad reviews and went ahead with it anyway because I really needed a nice gift for my other half. Firstly the order was delayed! Then when I got the bag it was beautiful however within a months time the bag ripped. So much for their quality check!
    When I got in touch with them they would not reply till I actually called them international rate and finally they reported it, they started saying because I got to them so late they wouldn’t give me an exchange or refund. I did say I don’t want a refund, il even send the bag back for them to replace the part. They started saying they are going to send out a replacement handle that I can get fixed here and they can’t do anything else.
    So what can I do I agreed. A month later a part came but it was the wrong part!
    Now I’m still waiting after countless emails and calls its been nearly 6 months.

    So do you really think this is a place to buy? Go else where seriously these guys are a waste of time and no where near helpful.

    I thought I would try this website; first purchase, a Louis Vuitton wallet. I sent the money as requested and the wallet arrived quickly. I opened the box and the first thing I noticed was the smell, and secondly the color of the monogram. It was close to being a copy of the LV original.
    I called and spoke to someone who suggested I put perfume on my wallet and asked me to send a picture of my item so that he could send it to his manufacturer. I told him via email that I had decided to return it for a complete refund as it is offered on their site, specifically on the home page where they guarantee customer service. I was then told that I could return the item and choose something else and they would waive the shipping fee. I sent back the wallet and requested a refund. That’s when I was told that they were unable to give me a refund and I should choose some other product. My thoughts were that if I was unhappy with the quality of a wallet, one of the least expensive items on their site, I surely wasn’t going to order anything else, let alone spend more money!
    When I called I spoke to a lady who advised me that she wasn’t permitted to speak with me.
    I kept getting template emails, the same ones over and over suggesting that I picked a replacement for my order.
    I advised them in writing that I would tell as many people as I could that they were a scam!!!
    Expensive lesson learned!

    When you’re dealing with shady business websites, its a hit or miss thing. It seems to me that its not consistantly all bad or good, sometimes you get lucky and actually get a good bag and sometimes you don’t. I guess it’s up to the individual whether to take a chance in getting lucky or not.

      Hi , I’m so glad I’ve found this blog , I’ve been really into all of Eva Knox post about PV and that Hannah girls and now I see they must work for the companies or something . Thank y’all for saving my money … So ioffer has good replicas? I never new that … Ima check them out..     Hi,

    With these websites , all you have to do is purchase via credit card and just in case seller does not cooperate with you, you contact the bank and open dispute/charge back on the item being not as described or defective and do not ship the items back, this way you get all your money back. This is what I did previously when they tried to scam Mr with inferior quality , even though I know what quality I should have received.

      Can you really get your money back that way? Or does the credit card company basically view it as tough luck for you purchasing a replica item? Bc I was thinking of chancing it but just using the credit card only I wasn’t sure it would protect me enough.

    I ordered a Louis Vuitton speedy 30 from Posh Moda. It was damaged and the tab on the zipper had stains on it. It is NOT a good replica in fact it is horrible!! I wanted to return it or an exchange and you have to pay to have it shipped back which will cost you a fortune. I wish I had NEVER heard of these horrible people. WHATEVER you do don’t order anything from them it is over priced junk that does not even come close to the real think….money down the drain!!

    I got a reply from the rep offering me 20% off my next order 🙁 ,like I would ever actually order from them again. I wanted to just go ahead and ship it back for a refund thinking that with my husbands 50% fedex discount that it may be ok but they send me an email saying I could only send it back via usps priority mail which I calculated was over $80. This is really just a hassle,I was so excited to get the bag and now I wish I had never seen the site.

    I ordered a LouisVuitton roses neverfull bag from them last week after reading Eva Knox and I just received the bag today and it was a disappointment.I think the quality of the bag was pretty good if it was just the plain neverfull but the color of the roses was really off. The color had a deep purple in it and it didn’t show that in their pictures. I contacted them today and I would really like to return it but after hearing the stories that makes me nervous. The rep I spoke with talked alot about them offering discounts but I really don’t think I would wear it. This was the most expensive replica bag that I’ve bought so I don’t really know which way to go with this. I have honestly bought better bags from ioffer.com at half the price. For those of you that returned your bags how much was return shipping?

      I had the same experience purchasing a speedy 25 DA from PV. Everything about the bag is perfect, except for the color. It is so bad, I don’t use it and did not want to be bothered sending it back to avoid conflict with them. They just lost a customer because I buy elsewhere now. The best way to describe the color of the speedy azur i received is a very dirty dark cream color with a medium blue. The dirty cream color clashes with the gold hardware vacheta. I wish I could post a pic to show. It’s a real shame the color is so bad because the rest of the bag is perfect!

    I have ordered from PV last year and since then have tried well over 10 other sellers. I bought five bags from PV and while quality was mixed, I’d say it overall it’s definitely on the lower end of replica quality. The other biggest drawback that I have discovered is their prices are incredibly inflated (even with supposed discount). Customer service was fine although I had to keep changing my bags (as at the time they had bags listed that were no longer in stock). The main thing I am not comfortable with is the link between Eva Knox and pursevalley. I thought she was a third party advocate at first but it all seems very fishy how PV can do no wrong when clearly there are so many reviews and pics on the web that prove otherwise. You only have to see PVs actual stock photos to tell that they don’t specialise in the reality high quality reps. I remember one post by Eva was a LV capucine she bought from PV. It looked so terrible and yet she was telling readers how wonderful it was, but her own pictures gave away how poor of a rep it was. That was definitely warning bells on the connection to Eva and PV.

    I purchased a LV Speedy 25 bandouliere Azur on Sept 1st and awaiting for it to arrive. It cleared custom in the USA yesterday so I hope to get it soon. My experience so far has been fantastic with pursevalley. cn. The only glitch was my cc denied the charge because they thought it was fraud but upon confirming, there was no problem. I will definitely let you know what I think of the quality and post pics (if I can) as soon as I receive it. I’m surprised at all the negative comments because so far none of this has happened to me. I even plan on buying another purse that wasn’t available when I purchase my Azur if the quality is there.

      Well I also ordered from them around the end of August and my bag just came and is a total piece of garbage. Wish I had read this reviews and not wasted my money. Let’s see if I can get a return now cause I am super mad!

    hi,to all of those who wish to purchase from pursevalley
    i always wanted the iconic LV keepall 55 but as many of us didn’t want to pay the price of the original one… was going away for an important trip so really wanted a nice travel bag. decided to get a replica but had absolutely no experience or idea where to start from. i came across pursevalley and it looked ok. prices were reasonably high so i thought “looks good to me”. i bet you all know how it is when you want something so badly that all of the common sense suddenly disappears.. so i went for it! paid through western union (my first time just to find out later that they do not give buyers any protection!!) was ensured by the guy on the phone that it would be here just on time (9 days wasn’t long but hoped for the best). and IT DID NOT ARRIVE! I WAS SO UPSET, not so much about the money but the fact that i wanted it so much for the trip. so broken dreams… another phone call (i dread to think what my phone bill will be as i live in the UK) and again very politely on the phone “yes we will ship asap..” a couple of days later a DHL tracking number came through well at least it was coming. i came back back a week later from hols and surprise surprise the bag wasn’t here and the tracking number disappeared. getting angry at this point! another phone call and another polite “yes yes we will send bla bla” that was monday, on wednesday still nothing so another phone call and the same again “yes please wait another couple of days…” lost my hope by then. thought to myself “girl ever learn”??? these are the scam pages you hear so much about so why do you think it won’t happen to you?????
    friday a DHL number came and an email end even a phone call!! from purse valley that it had been shipped. yeah wright…..
    monday a notification from DHL (i have an account with them so if anything gets sent to me i get notified about) that there was a parcel picked up. got my hopes high then 🙂
    wednesday (today) i have my bag!!!!!!!! can you believe? 2 days from hong kong to jersey in UK!!!! oh my god it is amazing!!!!!! great attention to detail, canvas with details of a real leather. just fab. came with some labels and a dust bag (nice gesture). the only thing is that it was supposed to come with a passport cover as a free gift and it wasn’t there..
    so.. overall… a lot of stress!!!!!! but worth waiting for. so tempted to get the LV Pegase 55. just to match that one.
    oh girl will you ever learn?

        yes I did and I was not pleased at all. total waste of money. they definitely know how to twist their own words around. I wanted to return it and they wouldn’t let me since I opened the package. So disappointed. Never ordering from there again
